Business Development officer – 15 hrs per week
Association of Blind Asians (ABA) is a charity organisation (Charity no: 1042621) delivering specialist support to members of the south Asian community with visual impairments and their carers throughout Leeds since 1989.
ABA is looking for a part time Business Development Officer who can work with the Manager to further develop our project 'Fair Ride'; a sustainable transport service delivered by volunteer drivers for disabled and older people in Leeds. We have recently secured some pots of funding for this project and are now looking for a post holder who can help build upon the existing project and develop Fair Ride into a fully functional and sustainable social enterprise. We are looking for someone who is a self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and is happy to be part of a small team.
Hours: 15 hours per week (funded for 1 year initially)
Salary: £8,210.00 (£20,253 PA for 37 hours)
Annual Leave: 24 days (includes 3 occasional days) plus 8 public holidays for staff working 37 hours per week (pro rata for part time workers)
Location: Harehills, Leeds
