Hours: 28 hours per week
Salary: £24,500 pro-rata

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our bespoke advice service Warm Connections to support local people who are finding the challenges of living with a disability or long term conditions, are impacting on their ability to pay their energy bills and the choices they have regarding the energy market.
We require an energetic and enthusiastic person who will possess or be willing to attain a City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Energy Awareness. You will be IT literate and have excellent written skills including the ability to produce accurate and concise reports and documents as required.
You will have at least 2 years' experience of delivering welfare benefits advice and/or energy advice and have experience of assessing and meeting peoples needs.
You will have experience of managing risk and an understanding of issues affecting lone workers in people’s homes.
You will also need to be an excellent communicator and have an ability to network and develop partnerships. You will need to manage a complex workload, prioritising effectively where necessary including an ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Understanding of and demonstrating commitment to the aims and objectives of DIAL is essential.
