Association of Blind Asians (ABA) is a charity organisation (Charity no: 1042621) delivering specialist support to members of the south Asian community with visual impairments throughout Leeds since 1989.
We focus on preventing sight loss and increasing the confidence and independence of our service users so that they are able to lead an independent life.
ABA has secured 3 years funding for “Roshni – The Light” project from Henry Smith and we are recruiting on the following positions. This project will support BAME (black, asians and minority ethnic) individuals, along with their families and carers who are affected with visual impairments throughout the Leeds city region.
If you are passionate about working with BAME individuals, reliable, self motivated and have a great understanding of BAME communities in Leeds, then we would like to hear from you. These are excellent opportunities if you are seeking a new challenge where you can help the most disadvantaged improve their health and wellbeing. You’ll play an important role in the delivery of the project working with individuals, professionals and providers.
