3 new freelance roles working in East Leeds.

Flexible hours to suit (usually in school time).

£10 per hour for approx. 70 hours each year for three years.

We’re building a network of Self-Reliant Groups (SRGs) in East Leeds, and we’re recruiting three Ambassadors to spread the word about SRG membership and how this benefits people and communities.

The role involves: chatting to people; informal presentations; attending community meetings and events; and encouraging people to join in!  Through sharing stories of what local groups and members are doing, you will gather potential members and support the SRG Manager to set up new groups.

Full training and ongoing support and supervision will be provided (and you’ll be paid for this time too).

If you like meeting new people, are organised and responsible, and have some experience of community participation & engagement, or peer support/community mentoring (whether as a worker, participant or volunteer) please e-mail liza@trustleeds.org.uk to request an application pack, or phone Liza on 07482 874 595 for an informal chat.

Closing date: 13th September 2019.

Proposed interview date: 18th September 2019.

We do this in a number of ways through our various projects which at the moment concentrate on working with children, young people and families. But not exclusively.
