Doncaster charity Active Fusion is recruiting for an exciting new apprenticeship role.
As well as helping children to become more physically active, Active Fusion works with young adults to help them develop skills to get into careers within coaching and teaching.
They are seeking a Community Sport and Health Officer to engage people in sport and physical activity across local communities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support behaviour change towards physical activity, to plan and engage exciting physical activities and overall, to help communities get more active.
There are no required qualifications for completing this apprenticeship. It is expected that the apprentice will leave with a meaningful and transferable portfolio.
The apprenticeship will take 16 to 20 months to complete and participants without a level 2 in maths and English will need to achieve this by the final assessment.

Our Vision

The Community Matters vision is to provide a sustainable and effective "hub" of learning, support, advice and guidance, enabling local communities and organisations to grow and achieve through the provision of a high quality service.

We do this in a number of ways through our various projects which at the moment concentrate on working with children, young people and families. But not exclusively. We are able to provide training, learning opportunities and business related advice, guidance and information to individuals and organisations.
