Do you want an opportunity to join a new team that is being set up to provide excellence in the support for young people?

From 1st July 2020 a new consortium commenced in Leeds relating to Young People’s Service.  Turning Lives Around is part of a consortium with Gipsil and Foundation called Our Way Leeds. Our Way Leeds is a housing and support service based in Leeds for young people aged between 16 and 25 years old offering support to develop and live independently.

We would like you to apply to work for us if you have a passion to provide excellent services to young people, help and advise them to achieve their potential and reach independence. Most important is your ability to engage with the young people living in the project and the aptitude to respond to emergencies if they arise.

The service provides a pre-tenancy, accommodation and floating housing related support service to a wide range of clients.  There is a need for a flexible work pattern between the hours of 7.30am - 10:30pm on a rota basis.

As well as a basic understanding of tenancy support, the successful applicant must demonstrate some comprehension of the issues faced by young people, some who may have multiple and complex needs and may also display high risk behaviours. Experience of working with this client group would be an advantage as would a relevant qualification at NVQ Level 3 or above.

To find out more about the above role prior to applying please contact Grace Pegden on 07548 802 410. Please note application by CV’s will not be considered.
