Community Catalysts is a social enterprise working across the UK to try to make sure that people who need care and support to live their lives can get help in ways, times and places that suit them, with real choice of attractive local options.

Since 2007 we have worked with partners in more than 90 local authority areas, keen to improve market diversity and widen community options. We help people use their talents to care for and support other local people by setting up small enterprises and ventures, creating jobs and volunteering opportunities. We also design and deliver projects that unlock community and individual assets in order to create opportunities for people who need care and support. We run the Local Area Coordination Network.

Community Catalysts has an ambitious aim and we know that we need to bring new skills and experience into our administration team in order to achieve our UK-wide ambition.

The Membership Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive, high quality administrative and project support to ensure the smooth running of our membership functions which include our Local Area Coordination Network and Small Good Stuff.

The post holder will also provide a range of communications and marketing support associated with our membership functions.

If you have any specific questions contact: Cat Thomas on cat.thomas@communitycatalysts.co.uk

Closing date for applications is on 9th October 2020 at 5.00pm and interviews will take place on 16th October 2020 virtually. We welcome applications from people from all sections of the community.

Our Vision

The Community Matters vision is to provide a sustainable and effective "hub" of learning, support, advice and guidance, enabling local communities and organisations to grow and achieve through the provision of a high quality service.

We do this in a number of ways through our various projects which at the moment concentrate on working with children, young people and families. But not exclusively. We are able to provide training, learning opportunities and business related advice, guidance and information to individuals and organisations.
