Could you be a Trustee for Seacroft Friends and Neighbours?

We are a non-profit organisation specifically a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO1183406) based over two sites in Seacroft. SFN is funded by grant funding and charitable donations. We provide vital support and organise activities for older residents within the Seacroft area of Leeds to improve health and independence and in particular independent living.

We are looking to recruit additional trustees to support our organisation. This is an unpaid role but is extremely rewarding. The Trustee Board meets every two months. Trustees help identify the vision of the Charity, ensure all charitable and legal obligations are met, and aim to offer a quality service to the charity beneficiaries. You can make a vital difference by contributing your knowledge and experience, and thereby strengthening the capacity and impact of SFN. Some of the skills and experience we are seeking in particular are:

  • Business and financial acumen
  • Secretarial Skills
  • Digital marketing skills
  • Fundraising ability

We would welcome applications from those with experience of the locality and of the needs of the Charity’s beneficiaries and we are wanting to build a more diverse team of Trustees.

Trustees are involved in committees of the Board, such as Finance and Personnel.
