Citizens Advice Craven and Harrogate Districts has seen a marked increase in Employment queries since the beginning of the Covid19 pandemic. We are seeking to employ a Volunteer Support Officer with good IT skills to run an Employment Project supporting and upskilling volunteers to provide accurate and skilled Employment Advice to local residents.
You will be tasked with increasing the skills of volunteer advisers by equipping them with the support, tools, systems and training necessary for them to advise clients accurately and confidently on Employment Issues and to continue to do so once the project has ended.
Funding: This role is funded for 9 months by the 2 Ridings Foundation.
Location: Given the current COVID-19 restrictions and uncertainty, this role will be based from home and this could be from anywhere within England and Wales.
Hours: 15 hours per week (2 days of either Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)
Salary: £9,600 (£24,000 FTE)
Pension: We operate the NEST Pension Scheme
Contract: Fixed Term Employment Contract for 9 months.
