Hours: 21 hours per week - flexible
Salary: £24,000 per annum (pro-rata)
+ 8% non-contributory pension

An exciting opportunity has arisen due to the creation of new roles within an established and forward thinking local charity providing advice support to disabled people and families in Barnsley.
You will have at least 2 years' experience in delivering quality marked benefits advice on the phone and out in the community

Experience of using client management systems to maintain case records effectively and an understanding of the importance of outcome based service delivery is required.

You will also need to be an excellent communicator, ability to work as part of a team and be able to manage a complex workload, prioritising effectively where necessary.

An understanding of the benefits of promoting self- help to enable choice and control for individuals and an understanding of the requirements of the Advice Quality Standard are also desirable.
You will also be experiences at developing relationships with other providers and supporting volunteers.
